Ubuntu. I am because we are.
Ubuntu. A Zulu word, often translated as “I am because you are.” This speaks to the interconnectedness of all life, our kin; humans in all their ways living around this one Earth, and with the more-than-human world of animals, icebergs and more.
Allow yourself to sit quietly, being with this image and concept:
How do you make sense of Ubuntu for yourself?
What happens in you when you directly experience (or come close to) the truth of this interconnectedness with all life?
If you were with Ubuntu more of the time, what might be different in the way you choose to lead?
What conditions might you create to make experiencing Ubuntu more likely?
